Submit Your City Photos and Stories

We’re always looking for sharp eyes and honest voices documenting city life. Whether you’re a photographer capturing street moments, a writer tracking local culture, or someone with a story about how your neighborhood is changing, we want to hear from you.

Gazeta.mobi runs on contributions from people who actually live in these cities. Our best pieces come from photographers who know their streets and writers who’ve spent time observing. We publish urban photography, local news angles, lifestyle observations, and cultural commentary that the mainstream outlets miss.

What We’re Looking For

Original work only. We publish photographs you’ve taken yourself and stories you’ve reported or written. We don’t republish work that’s already appeared elsewhere online or in print. If your photos or writing have been published before, let us know where.

For photography: strong composition, natural light preferred, and subjects that say something about how people actually live in cities. Street photography, architecture, public spaces, local commerce, cultural events, daily rituals. We’re interested in the texture of urban life, not generic tourist shots.

For writing: local reporting, cultural observation, lifestyle pieces tied to specific places. Tell us about a neighborhood transformation, a local business worth knowing about, how a cultural community operates, what’s changing on your block. We publish around 800 to 2000 words typically, though we’re flexible for the right story.

How to Submit

Send your work to [email protected] with a brief note about what you’re sharing, where it was taken or reported, and a line or two about your background. Include a link to your portfolio if you have one online. For photos, send high-resolution files. For writing, send a text file or paste the draft directly.

We respond to submissions within two weeks. If we’re interested, we’ll discuss rights, payment if applicable, and any edits before publishing.

We retain the right to edit for clarity, style, and length. We won’t change your core reporting or perspective without checking with you first.
